The rope-edge border frames an intricate etched center: a small woven basket holding three large flowers and two smaller blooms cascading outward, surrounded by scrolls and leaves. Originally used as a serving or bread tray.
At just over 12 inches, this size works beautifully for coffee service, a bread or roll basket at the table, a bar cart accent, or a small vanity tray for perfumes and jewelry.
International Silver Company was founded in Connecticut in 1898 through the merger of several established American silversmithing firms, and became one of the most prolific and recognized names in American silverplate throughout the 20th century, producing thousands of patterns across serveware, flatware, and holloware.
