Stone lithographs from Schmidt Litho Company of San Francisco, printed for Lone Star Seed Co of San Antonio — images so vivid they were held without pricing until the 1950s, when the packets were finally filled in and distributed. This one never made it to a garden. New old stock, never used, in excellent condition with only the faintest age yellowing. The Ornamental Gourds illustration is a riot of warm autumn color — amber, green, cream, and russet — and one of the most striking in the entire Lone Star series.
