This is an amber glass bottle from the Mrs. Butterworth's syrup line, easily recognized by its shape. The bottles switched from glass to a three-layer polypropylene bottle starting in August of 1999. The marks on this bottle are "6472 80 12 S." We're not experts, so please make your own determination on the year. Many people collect these bottles, and others, who are highly creative and talented, make beautiful "painted ladies" with them; please see the pictures for the wonderful work by Cindy Trombley of PaintingonJars on Etsy, who sells patterns so you can make your own painted lady.

A great find for a Mrs. Butterworth's collector or a crafter, and these glass bottles are getting harder to find.
