This tall cream ceramic canister was produced exclusively for Knott's Berry Farm Foods, the beloved California jam and specialty food brand that began as a family roadside berry stand in the 1920s. The body is covered in raised white dots bordered above and below with soft grey-green bands of white leaves and gold trim. The lid features a detailed blueberry and blossom decal centered in gold, with raised dots around the border, and a brass-tone swing-closure clasp shaped like a flower — a lovely touch. The canister is empty and stamped on the bottom: "Ceramic Canister Made Exclusively For Knott's Berry Farm Foods. Not Recommended for Dishwasher or Microwave Use." The original contents sticker (best by January 2005) remains. There is crazing on the body, typical for this type of glaze.
