The pink rose that launched the most popular dinnerware pattern ever made in America — in a divided vegetable bowl from the brief and beautiful English production era.
Franciscan's Desert Rose was introduced in 1941 in California and went on to become one of the bestselling dinnerware patterns of the 20th century. This divided bowl dates to 1979–1984, when Wedgwood owned the Franciscan line and moved production to England — meaning this piece was likely made at Wedgwood's English factories before the line was eventually discontinued in 2013. The off-white ceramic ground and hand-embossed pink roses are exactly as they've always been. Oven safe (do not preheat) and dishwasher safe. Other Desert Rose pieces — complete place settings, the creamer and sugar, and salt and pepper — are also available in the shop.
A practical and beautiful addition to any Desert Rose collection, or a standalone serving piece for spring and summer entertaining. A natural gift for anyone who grew up with Desert Rose on the family table, or for a collector filling in their set.
