Napco head vases are among the most collected mid-century ceramics in existence — and this sweet blonde girl with pigtails and a floral hat is a particularly charming example. Small enough for a dressing table, substantial enough to display, and perfectly suited to holding a few small blooms, a makeup brush, or a handful of Q-tips on a vanity.
Made in Japan in 1962, hand painted in pink and white. Some wear on the top border, and she is missing her original umbrella — both noted and reflected in the price. Otherwise in very good vintage condition.
A lovely gift for a head vase collector, a thoughtful accent for a girl's room or vintage-styled vanity, or simply a piece that brings a little mid-century personality wherever it lands.
