A large hand-painted ceramic swan from a hobbyist mold, made in the USA in the 1980s–1990s. Carved initials A.J. on the base. The scale is generous — nearly 16 inches long — which gives her real presence on a surface. Excellent condition; no chips, no cracks, no scratches beyond normal wear.
On a sunroom table, a buffet as a server for canapes or olives, a covered porch, or a farmhouse shelf. She works in country, coastal, and cottage interiors equally well. A charming and one-of-a-kind piece.
