Bartlett Collins introduced Golden Grapes (decoration 806) in 1947. The "sugared" white grapes and leaves were made by hand, with finely ground glass or sand (accounts vary) applied to the outside of each glass, and a thin gold line runs just above the decal beneath the gold rim.  Photographed in various lighting to capture details.

Lovely for iced tea, juice, or water, idea for anyone who collects mid-century glassware. Hand wash to preserve the gold trim and decal.

Bartlett-Collins began in 1914, when oil operator Harry U. Bartlett and glassman George F. Collins signed a contract to build a glass plant in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. The first glassware came off the line in June 1915. Collins later split off and founded Liberty Glass Co. in 1918, but the Collins name stayed on the firm. Over the decades the company made pressed and blown tableware, stemware, and drinkware. Lancaster Colony, which also owned Indiana Glass, bought it in 1982, and Anchor Hocking purchased it in 2007 and announced the plant's closing the following January.
