A hand-painted mallard duck, frozen mid-float — the colors of fall in ceramic form.
Made by Avon in Brazil in May 1978, this figural trinket dish is shaped as a male mallard in full plumage: rich browns, deep greens, the quiet palette of an autumn marsh. Hand crafted and individually numbered — this one is #334236. Originally sold with a Soap on a Rope, it was designed as a soap dish but works beautifully as a desk or dresser catch-all, a ring dish, or simply a decorative accent. Avon began producing novelty collectible containers in the mid-1960s; by the mid-1970s their giftware had developed a devoted collector following. This piece is in excellent condition — no chips, no cracks, no scratches.
Perfect for a man cave, a cabin, a lake house, or a den. A natural Father's Day gift, an Avon collector's find, or a piece of fall decor that works year-round.
