- Details: What a charming metal tray, in absolutely wonderful vintage condition, featuring the Kentucky state map and its iconic goldenrod flower. There are lots details, with cities and landmarks outlined in gold on a deep black background. The back is sold "gold" metal color, and the entire tray has a textured finish that makes it sparkle. years, by the 1950s plastic and steel soon became the sign materials of choice. After WWII, we moved away from tin, plastic and steel became the materials of choice, although we call these Tin Trays, they are generally made of steel with a thin tin coating. Perfect for serving snacks, we think you'll love it to showcase as decor, or collectible. Perfect gift for someone living in Kentucky, moving to, or out of, the state.
