Details: This collectible tray was issued by the Ford Motor Company, most likely in the 1950's - 1960's as part of an advertisement campaign. It has a wonderful illustration of a 1910 Model-T Ford Torpedo Roadster. Did you know that Henry Ford conceived a series of cars from 1903 to 1908, when he finally introduced the Model-T? He named it Model-T because he had run through the alphabet starting with Model-A up through Model T, twenty models in five years!! The scene on this tray shows a couple in the Ford convertible, all bundled up, as this looks like a fall or winter scene. Very few leaves on the trees, and everything's brown but they seem to be enjoying the ride. There is a sticker on the front that reads: "Reconditioned by Authorized Preconditioner" and the Ford word mark on the blue ribbons. Not sure if this is a "thing" for these trays. The store we purchased it from had a sticker (on back, we left it for you): "Ford Certified Tray" again, not sure if this is really something Ford would do, or someone just placed a sticker on the tray. This is not only a wonderful serving tray, it would be a great piece of decor for a bar or man-cave, or as part of your fall / winter decor/display.

Condition: Vintage - Used. Average Condition. As with all vintage metal pieces, there are several surface scratches. There are some rust spots, dings, worn paint, the back is heavily scratched.
