A wonderful collector's item: a vintage original sports car resembling an Austin Woodill convertible, in pale green. The friction-powered motor makes a "car-engine" noise when the car is pushed, and it retains its original box.
A great gift for another collector.
Chinese tin toys of this period usually carried no brand name, only a model designation such as the MF 763 here, and collectors identify them by those numbers. Many came from state-run factories such as the Shanghai Toy Factory, built to export friction cars like this one.
We also carry a battery-operated tin tour bus in its original box. Browse our shop for more vintage toys to round out your collection.
