Tartan plaid, dark blue lid, horse and rider. Kentucky Club at its rarest.
The Bloch Brothers of Wheeling, West Virginia acquired the Kentucky Club Aromatic Mixture brand in 1943 — an aromatic blend introduced in 1934 — and produced it until 1969. This 1-oz pocket tin is the rarest colorway in the Kentucky Club lineup: a woven tartan pattern in blue, red, and yellow with a solid dark blue lid, bearing the equestrian horse-and-jumper logo that defined the brand. Typically these are found in the standard blue-and-white; the all-tartan version is a genuine find. Empty, natural oxidation patina inside and on the bottom — no dents, no scratches.
A standout piece for the tobacciana collector, the equestrian memorabilia enthusiast, or the vintage tin collector who wants something genuinely unusual. We also carry the solid turquoise blue version.
