Solid turquoise — not the standard blue-and-white. Another rare Kentucky Club colorway.
This 1-oz Kentucky Club pocket tin from Bloch Brothers of Wheeling, West Virginia is the solid turquoise blue variation — harder to find than the more common half-blue/half-white standard issue, and a distinct variant in its own right. The equestrian horse-and-jumper logo is crisp against the turquoise ground. Empty. Some scratches, paint loss, and rust spots — all consistent with age and use, all acceptable. Kentucky Club Aromatic Mixture was discontinued in 2017 after a history spanning back to 1934.
A nice companion to the tartan plaid version we also carry. A compact, character-rich piece for the tobacciana or equestrian collector.
