Small pink roses and rosebuds, wispy green leaves, gold accents at the handle and rim, and a saucer deep enough to catch every last drop — the Moss Rose pattern has the kind of unpretentious prettiness that wears well over decades. This is a coffee cup shape, though it moves easily between coffee and tea.
Johann Haviland was the grandson of David Haviland, who founded the original Haviland and Company in 1842. Johann established his own namesake company in 1907 with the goal of producing accessible, well-made dinnerware for everyday American tables. The Johann Haviland name continued through several owners and was still in use through the late 1980s and early 90s, when this piece was made. Each cup is stamped "Traditions Fine China, Johann Haviland, China Corporation." We have 8 available — ideal for completing or expanding a set. Contact us for a discount on 4 or more. Hand wash recommended.
A versatile, genuinely pretty piece for daily use, seasonal display, or as part of a collected set. Lovely for a bridal shower, Mother's Day, or a housewarming.
