A large pink rose on bright white porcelain, embossed swirls catching the light across the cup body, a scalloped saucer border — The Dundee pattern is romantic without apology, and Hutschenreuther executed it in the Bavarian tradition of porcelain that takes decoration seriously.

Hutschenreuther was founded in Selb, Bavaria in 1814 and became one of Germany's most respected porcelain houses. The Dundee pattern dates to 1962, confirmed by two backstamps: the Hutschenreuther Selb LHS Bavaria Germany mark (used 1939–1965) and the Pasco importer mark, a New York-based importer active from 1915 to 1970. Two marks, one date, a piece made for the American market at the height of mid-century Bavarian export. We have 2 available, and carry additional Dundee pieces — search "Dundee" to see the full collection.

A beautiful piece for a collector of German porcelain, a romantic shelf, or a gift that feels genuinely special. Perfect for a birthday, anniversary, Mother's Day, or housewarming.
