Desert Rose is one of the most beloved dinnerware patterns ever made in America — introduced by Gladding McBean in 1941 and still being produced over seventy years later. This set of four comes from the pattern's final chapter: made in China between 2004 and 2013, after Waterford Wedgwood carried the torch from its California origins. The rose-and-branch aesthetic is unchanged — embossed pink roses with green leaves, a handle shaped like a woody branch with a natural finger rest, on warm off-white ceramic.

Unlike the original California pieces, this later production is dishwasher, microwave, and freezer safe — practical for daily use without sacrificing the charm. Set of 4 cups and 4 saucers, 8 pieces total, in pristine condition. We carry several other Desert Rose pieces — creamer and sugar, salt and pepper, place settings — while supplies last.

A classic American pattern that suits any season and any table. A wonderful housewarming, bridal shower, or hostess gift — or simply a very good set of cups for your own morning ritual.
