Part of Mikasa's Studio Nova line, the Golden Orchid pattern was introduced in 2002 and discontinued in 2007 when Mikasa retired the Studio Nova brand. This oval glass box features an embossed frosted orchid on the lid with gold ribbon accents, and a pleated base that catches the light beautifully. Made in Japan. This is the prettiest version of the pattern — frosted with gold stripes, rather than the clear or plain-rimmed alternatives. Excellent condition, no chips, no scratches.
