This American-made mustard or condiment spoon from the 1950s–1960s is one of those quietly brilliant pieces of vintage tableware: the elongated scoop bowl is designed exactly like a mustard spoon, and the strategically placed hook at the back of the handle rests on a jar or bowl rim to keep the spoon from slipping in. Marked "...Plate" with a "12" — the hook covers the beginning of the stamp, but 12 DWT is a standard indicator of silverplate. Four available, all in similar condition — each priced individually.
