- Details: Authentic vintage soup crocks from California USA Pottery, crafted in a white, linear patterned ceramic, with lid and dual "ear" handles. This set of two ovenproof bowls is a RARE find, especially in this condition. They exemplify early mid-century dinnerware design, perfect for French onion soup, bisques, thick stews, and consommés, or everyday dining. Each piece bears the maker's mark, reflecting quality craftsmanship from an era when functional tableware was built to last. Ideal for collectors seeking genuine vintage pottery or anyone appreciating timeless ceramic design with practical appeal. These can also be used for individual pot pies and casseroles. Excellent for Mid Century art pottery collectors. Collectors, please note the markings and style: "Calif USA 857 Ovenproof", plus these have a unique rounded "button" knob on lid. We also carry similar, but not identical bowls, issued in the 1960's, (also #857), which have a linear patterned knob on lid, a cut-out for spoon, and larger protruding handles.

- Condition: Vintage - Used. Very Good Vintage Condition. There are signs of age, one chip and some wear / marks on the clay with slight crazing in some areas. All acceptable due to age/use/wear.
