These vintage Christmas songbooks were promotional items given by banks, stores and many other businesses. Typical of the mid-20th century, circa 1950s and 1960s. This one is from The First National Bank in St. Louis, started on July 7, 1919, at Broadway and Locust. In 1921, the First National Bank in St. Louis was the largest national bank west of the Mississippi. In 1996 First National Bank of St. Louis was acquired by NationsBank.
NationsBank then merged with BankAmerica in 1999, and the combined company took the Bank of America name.
