Worn, rustic, and entirely honest about it — for the right person, that's the whole point.
A reverse painted glass silhouette of a Victorian couple: a woman in a floral gown at the piano, a gentleman listening. Off-white background, light beige wood frame. This piece has lived a long life and it shows: textured background pattern likely from age or storage, black paint worn in two areas (both photographed), significant paint loss on the frame, exposed nails on back, rudimentary cardboard-and-thread hanging. We'd call it fair condition — and we've priced it accordingly. The image itself still reads clearly and charmingly.
If you love the look of truly time-worn things, this one is for you. Not for someone seeking elegance — but perfect for a collector who appreciates patina, or for a display where the age is the aesthetic.
