A reverse painted silhouette on convex glass, overlaid onto an embossed daisy print background — the embossing adding a third layer of texture to an already layered object. Real wood frame with gold wash, still shiny. Black cardboard backing. Two tacks on back are likely the original hanging method; the built-in loop appears unused. These convex glass silhouettes from the 1930s–1950s were as much about the decorative background as the figures themselves — the deer and potted plant here are quietly charming, but the daisies behind them are the real statement. Some paint loss on frame; otherwise very good condition. Note size: 5" × 4".
