Such wonderful shot glasses, simple in design, very clean, and modern looking. Each is blown glass, frosted, with the Jägermeister stag logo on the front and measurements on the back: one line at the 2 cl mark (2 centiliters) and another at 4 cl (4 centiliters). For comparison, a standard American shot is about 1.5 ounces, or roughly 4.4 cl, so the 4 cl line is just shy of a full American shot. The letters ARC on the back are the initials of the glassmaker, Arc International, now simply known as ARC; we have seen the same thing on other shot glasses where the manufacturer's initials sit alongside the measurements.

A great decor piece for the bar or man cave, and just the right size to use as beer samplers. An excellent Father's Day gift.

Jägermeister, German for "master hunter," was created by Curt Mast, whose family firm in Wolfenbüttel, Germany, had been making vinegar since 1878. He developed the herbal liqueur in 1934 and launched it in 1935, blending 56 herbs, fruits, roots, and spices. The stag with a glowing cross between its antlers recalls the legend of Saint Hubertus, patron saint of hunters.

We also carry a hand painted Scotland souvenir shot glass set and a Mexico tequila shot set. Browse our shop for more shot glasses and barware to round out your collection.
