Shot Glass: Super Bowl XLV, Packers vs Steelers, NFL Lombardi Trophy, 2011

A souvenir shooter from Super Bowl XLV, the 2011 meeting of the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers, carries the Vince Lombardi Trophy in satin metallic silver on a thick, heavily weighted base.

• Maker: Unknown
• Event: Super Bowl XLV (NFL), Green Bay Packers vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
• Materials: Glass, screen-printed satin metallic silver and black decal
• Dimensions: Approx. 2.25 inches Tall, 2.0 inches in Diameter (top opening), holds 2 oz
• Era: 2011
• Condition: Very Good Used Condition. There is a very fine scratch on the front decal.  Please review photos closely before purchasing, as all sales are final.

The front shows the Vince Lombardi Trophy in a screen-printed satin metallic silver decal with black details, and the back carries the NFL shield logo, with National Football League lettered across the top rim. On both sides of the design, faint football silhouettes from the official stadium backdrop give the decal a soft, ghosted look. The bottom is marked North Texas 02.06.11, the date and host region of the game.  It retains a partial NFL licensed prismatic foil sticker on the base, we didn't remove it in case this is important to a collector, otherwise, it can be easily removed.  This style of shot glass is known as a shooter, and the thick base gives it a solid feel in hand.

A natural gift for a Packers or Steelers fan, a football collector, or a game-day bar cart — fitting for Father's Day or a birthday.

Super Bowl XLV was played on February 6, 2011, at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, the first Super Bowl held in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. The Packers, who entered the playoffs as the NFC's sixth seed, held off a Steelers comeback to win 31–25 and claim their fourth Super Bowl title. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers was named MVP after throwing for 304 yards and three touchdowns.
