Exceptional hand-work in this beautiful piece of 3D art. This graceful geisha wears a red brocade kimono with lots of gilding, and her hair is meticulously coiffed with added flowers, barrettes, and other embellishments. She looks like she's made of porcelain, but we could not determine the exact material. The background is an oriental print damask, either paper or fabric, again unable to determine without opening. There are Japanese characters on the right side, a Hanko (stamp), and the artist's signature. It has been professionally framed in a gilded frame with a gray mat and is ready to hang.

Delightful artwork, perfect as Asian decor or a very generous gift for an oriental collector.
