Details: This very pretty serving platter, made by Wedgwood of Etruria & Barlaston, England is creamy ivory ironstone with a single pink rose and tiny bud in the center, and a ribbed border. The look is simple and elegant, basically, the elegance is in its simplicity. This piece is very old and has been used a lot, it has small stains from all the love and service it has provided, but if you're like us, you'll love it for the old patina and wear even more. This is a very large and heavy platter, please keep this in mind at check-out.
For the Collector: The backstamp reads: "Moss Rose No T432, Wedgwood of Etruria & Barlaston, Edme USADES PAT 61298, Made in England". "Edme" is that border ribbed pattern, designed in 1908 by John Goodwin. The mark, USA DES means this design was registered for the American market. There is also an imprint mark, a bit hard to read but we believe it's "11H43".
How to Use: Perfect decor for Cottagecore, French Country, Shabby Chic and Traditional styles. A beautiful addition to your china hutch or wall display. If using to serve food, we recommend using a clear glass liner.

Condition: Vintage - Used. Good Vintage Condition. There are several brown spots, stains, wear on the bottom and crazing throughout, acceptable due to age/use/wear. There are no cracks or chips.
