There is an art to restraint, and Hutschenreuther's Dundee pattern understands it perfectly — one generous pink rose at the center, a thick gold rim, and a scalloped border with embossed swirls that catch the light without demanding attention.

Introduced around 1962 and double-stamped by both Hutschenreuther Selb LHS Bavaria Germany and New York importer Pasco (in business 1915–1970), this 15" platter is a substantial, elegant piece — the kind that elevates any table it lands on. Hutschenreuther, founded in Bavaria in 1814, spent over a century producing some of Germany's finest porcelain before eventually becoming part of the Rosenthal division of the Wedgwood Group. Their craftsmanship is evident in the weight, whiteness, and hand of this piece. We carry other Dundee serving pieces — browse the shop for the full set.

A gracious gift for the china collector, the formal table enthusiast, or anyone building a set of truly beautiful serveware.
