A summer afternoon caught in porcelain — unhurried, warm, quietly elegant.
A large and rare early Nao figurine from Spain, dating to the 1960s or early 1970s based on the NAO mark. A young woman in a wide sunhat and blue tie-front top sits on a rock wall, her patterned skirt draped around her. Hand painted, substantial in weight and presence — 11 inches tall and 11.5 inches long. No chips, no cracks, no repairs. Nao is the sister line to Lladro, produced in the same Valencia workshops; early Nao pieces with the original mark are genuinely collectible and increasingly difficult to find in this condition.
For a Lladro or Nao collector, a lover of Spanish porcelain, or anyone who appreciates a figure that brings a sense of leisure and light into a room. Ships insured, signature required.
