The Hooker's Fruit series by Rosina-Queen's China draws directly from the work of William Hooker (1779–1832), a British botanical artist whose fruit studies appeared in the Pomona Londinensis and brought scientific rigor and genuine beauty together on the same page. Rosina translated his illustrations onto fine English bone china in the 1980s, producing a series of discontinued dinner plates that collectors and decorators have been quietly hunting ever since.
