The kind of punch bowl that makes a party feel like an occasion.
This compact mid-century glass set — bowl, lid, and twelve cups — punches well above its size. The design is restrained and lovely: bold enamel leaves in crisp white (maple or grape, they're open to interpretation) on both sides of the bowl, finished with a thick gold rim that catches the light. The bowl is a generous 128 oz. but a manageable footprint, making it equally at home on a bar cart, a sideboard, or a holiday table. The maker is unconfirmed; the set has been attributed to Anchor Hocking, though we found no markings and can't say for certain. The bowl doubles beautifully as a serving or salad bowl on its own.
A wonderful housewarming or holiday gift for the host who entertains in style, or the collector who sets a table with intention every season.
