Irises and roses. The cooler, more serene companion to the #3216.

This is an original vintage lithograph of a floral bouquet of blue and yellow irises with pink roses and companion blooms — after the work of French master Jean Louis Prévost (1760–1810), from his Collection des Fleurs et des Fruits series. Marked: 3107 Floral (Prévost), Litho in U.S.A. Circa 1940s–1950s. Four available. Unframed.

Where the #3216 leads with warm pinks and the soft sentiment of roses and forget-me-nots, the #3107 is cooler and more architectural — the upright iris forms giving the composition a stately elegance. The blue and yellow palette reads beautifully against neutral or warm walls and pairs naturally with the #3216 as a two-print set. Both share the same exquisite draftsmanship of the Prévost advertisement print series, produced from originals by one of France's most celebrated flower painters, whose work is held in the permanent collection of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. New Old Stock, never used, in excellent condition.

A wonderful piece for a botanical print collector, a lover of French still-life painting, or anyone building a floral print wall. Display alone or pair with #3216 for a complementary set.
