This 1939 lithograph, "In Safe Keeping," captures a girl asleep on the grass with her devoted St. Bernard standing watch. She's asleep. He's not. That's the whole agreement, and it has held for nearly ninety years.

Titled "In Safe Keeping" and marked "2911 In Safe Keeping, Litho in U.S.A." on the print. J. Adams created the original illustration in 1937; C. Moss lithographed it in 1939 for the advertisement print market, where it was reproduced for calendars, thermometers, postcards, and hand fans. New Old Stock, never used. Four available.
