A modernized nod to Pan Am's flying boat era, captured in blue and white. The clipper ship on this deck traces back to the airline's "314 Clipper" — a long-range flying boat built by Boeing and flown from 1938 to 1941 — reimagined here as a streamlined logo. Produced by the United States Playing Card Company, this deck was part of the wave of giveaways that ended after 1978's deregulation made the gesture too costly to sustain. It came from a collector's estate, complete with both jokers, and the box still retains its original blue USPCC seal.
A worthwhile addition for the Pan Am enthusiast, the playing card collector, or anyone drawn to mid-century aviation history.
