Leeds China produced Disney-licensed ceramics for only a decade — 1944 to 1954 — from their Chicago facility, and in that brief window they made some of the most sought-after Disneyana pieces in existence. This Alice in Wonderland double planter is among the rarest of them. Hand painted in soft pink (also produced in blue, green, and yellow), marked "Walt Disney Prod" on the back, and in very good vintage condition for a piece approaching 80 years old.
Two small areas of color loss are photographed and the condition is reflected in the price — otherwise no other issues. A piece like this belongs in a serious collection.
