Two swan-shaped porcelain vases and a matching bud vase — each one covered in hand applied pink porcelain roses, each gilded at the details (beaks, feet, rim), and each marked with the Dresden Crown mark and the word "Handarbeit," meaning hand painted, written in gold. The maker behind the KD mark beneath the crown has not been identified, but the quality speaks for itself. The bud vase stands nearly eight inches tall; the swans are four and three-quarter and three and three-quarter inches respectively. All three in perfect condition — no chips, scratches, or imperfections of any kind.
Used together they make a bridal table, a vanity, or a mantel arrangement that stops people. Used separately they earn their spots wherever you put them. Romantic, delicate, and entirely of the German porcelain tradition at its finest.
