Designed as a special limited edition collectible for the Wild Turkey Fliers Club by Austin Nichols & Co., this 1987 bisque porcelain pitcher is a tour de force of figural ceramics. The turkey wraps the entire pitcher in sculpted, hand-painted detail — bisque-finished on the exterior for a naturalistic matte texture, glazed on the interior for use. Marked on the base: “Wild Turkey Fliers Club Special Limited Edition Porcelain, Wild Turkey Pitcher 1987, Austin Nichols & Co.” Hand wash only. Equally beautiful as a vase or a statement piece on a Thanksgiving table.
