The frosted dolphin leaps in a graceful arc, its fins and tail tinted turquoise and its small eye picked out in green, resting on a swirl of clear glass that suggests a wave. The 22 kt gold plated frame beside it holds a small oval photo. All resting on a rectangular beveled mirror base. The original hang tag, still attached with gold thread, reads "Hand-Sculpted Glass" and "22 kt Gold" and is marked 2000 Unison Gifts UG. It notes that glass sculpting has been a fine art for many centuries, and that because each piece is handmade, no two are exactly alike.
A sweet gift for a baby's room or a new parent, a dolphin lover, or a beach-house shelf — and a playful nod for the Miami Dolphins fan in the family.
