A square locket from the Art Deco era — engraved or possibly hand-chased on both the outside and inside, with space for two photographs. One side already holds a photograph of a soldier in uniform, which we're leaving in place for you. The hinge opens smoothly on the side; both hinges work perfectly. Small rounded bail. Believed to be gold filled. Unsigned.
There are condition notes: a dent on the front, significant loss of gold plating on the back, surface scratches and discoloration throughout — all consistent with a century of age and wear. Photographed clearly and priced accordingly. The engraving and overall form remain beautiful.
