A piece of American advertising history — and a record worth preserving.

These Aunt Jemima paprika shakers were made by F&F Mold & Die Works in Dayton, Ohio, starting in 1949 as promotional giveaways for Quaker Oats customers who saved Aunt Jemima Pancake Mix box tops. Aunt Jemima stands in her red dress, matching headscarf, white apron, and white neckerchief. All shakers retain their original insert; none have cracks or dents. Some paint loss is present, consistent with age and use, but these are in noticeably better condition than our lower-priced listing.

Black Americana collectibles are a meaningful and complex category. These pieces honor Nancy Green — one of the first African-American models, and the advertising world's first living trademark — while also preserving an unvarnished record of American commercial history. We encourage purchase with intent for preservation and for the greater good. Price is for one (1) shaker. Contact us with your preferred piece number before purchasing, or add a note at checkout.
