Westmoreland introduced English Hobnail in the 1920s and kept making it until the day they closed in 1984 — their longest-running pattern, and their most beloved.
This pair of milk glass candle holders in the English Hobnail (also called Sawtooth) pattern is everything Westmoreland collectors look for: the crisp, precise hobnail texture, the pure white milk glass, and the quality that set Westmoreland apart from every other manufacturer who borrowed the hobnail name but never quite matched the execution. No other glass company made English Hobnail exactly like Westmoreland. These are in exceptional condition — no scratches, chips, cracks, or crazing on either piece.
A beautiful addition to a milk glass collection, a cottagecore or grandmillennial shelf, or a simple white tablescape that lets the texture speak for itself.
