Details: This is an extremely rare Christmas ornament. It is round with flat sides. One side shows a hand painted, raised (debossed), green parrot (bird), perched on his cage. The other side has raised star. The cap is marked "Made in Occupied Japan". These mid-century ornaments remain popular with collectors for their beauty, rarity and sparkle.
