Condition: Excellent — no chips, scratches, rust, cracks, or cloudiness. The lamp is complete with body, burner, wick, and globe / chimney; the burner and wick have been replaced with new, unused ones. Please review photos closely before purchasing, as all sales are final.
A very large and VERY heavy oil lamp (also called a hurricane lamp). The glass body is octagonal (8 sided), with very nice beading on the pedestal. The metal burner and wick have been replaced with brand new, unused ones; we know these originally came with Eagle brand burners, which helped us date it. The glass chimney is probably not original either, but it is new, clean, and has the beading on top to match the base.
These lamps are highly collectible and great for patios, as table lamps while dining outside, or lit indoors (with lamp oil, not kerosene, when indoors). We hope you enjoy it however you decide to use it.
