The raised bear figure has genuine dimension and texture, with the deliberately rough, unglazed "fur" finish standing out sharply against the smooth cobalt glaze surrounding it.
It's perfect for a cup of hot chocolate, as Christmas kitchen decor, or as a great stocking stuffer for a bear lover or mug collector.
The border carries a drip-glaze pattern in alternating brown and beige tones that wraps all the way around the cup, paired with a solid red handle. We haven't been able to trace the maker or exact date, but the craftsmanship and playful detail made it an easy addition to our shop regardless.
