Based on a photo of illustrator Ruth Morehead and her twin sisters, the design shows three cherubic angels in prayer with the words "Peace Love & Joy to You" surrounding them, repeated on both sides of the mug. Morehead (1926–2004) spent decades creating over 3,000 characters that earned devoted collectors worldwide, and this piece is stamped on the base with the Houston Harvest Gift Products logo and the Hallmark license mark.
