Hazel Atlas issued an extensive children's mug collection in the 1940s and 1950s featuring an array of beloved subjects — circus clowns, farm animals, nursery rhyme characters, and TV personalities like Daniel Boone, Wyatt Earp, and Buck Rogers. This circus clown example carries the red enamel graphics all the way around the opaque white milk glass, marked on the base with the HA logo. At 3 inches tall it's a proper child's cup size. Absolutely pristine — no chips, wear, or fading of any kind.
