It's a great pick for the German beer culture collector, and looks wonderful displayed as a grouping with other German-style mugs — we currently have 2 available.
The embossed figures — two bearded men, a barrel standing in for a table — are hand-painted and glazed in muted browns, beige, blue, and green, evoking a Bavarian mountain tavern even though the mug itself was made in Japan. This kind of German-style stein, produced for the American gift market, was widely collected through the mid-20th century for bringing a taste of Oktoberfest into homes far from Bavaria.
Pair it with our matching Lady Playing Guitar mug for a complete grouping, or browse our shop for more German-style barware.
