Five pink Depression glass tumblers in American Sweetheart — a pattern that was never reproduced and is nearly impossible to find in this condition.
MacBeth-Evans produced the American Sweetheart pattern for just six years, from 1930 to 1936, pressed in pink, monax, and ruby glass during one of the most difficult eras in American history. The pattern — delicate swags with scrolls, dots, and fine lines — was among the most refined of the Depression glass era, which is precisely why it became so collectible. Three tumbler sizes were made; this is the largest at 10 oz. The pattern has never been reproduced, which means every piece you find is the real thing. This set of five is in genuinely pristine condition — exceptional for 90-year-old glass.
A serious find for a Depression glass collector, a stunning spring or summer table addition, or a meaningful gift for anyone who appreciates American glassware with real history.
