Amber glass. Copper sleeve. The kind of barware that makes you slow down and appreciate the drink.
This set of two Tia Maria mugs dates to the 1970s — a gift-with-purchase from the brand in their heyday. The smoked amber blown glass has a heavy bottom and a distinctive shape, each piece cradled in a copper sleeve holder that gives them a warmth and elegance you simply don't find anymore. The wordmark "Tia Maria" is written in enamel on each glass, in perfect condition. No chips, cracks, or scratches.
Perfect for hot coffee cocktails, Irish-style coffees, or any warm drink that deserves a proper vessel. A set of two — intimate, intentional, ready to use.
Tia Maria is a dark coffee liqueur made in Italy using 100% Arabica coffee beans, Bourbon vanilla, and Jamaican rum. In 1946, Morris Cargill connected with Dr. Ken Evans to develop a coffee liqueur recipe similar to one his aunt used to make — he could never quite get her exact recipe, so he named it after her. "Tia" is Spanish for aunt. Tia Maria. Still produced in Saronno, Italy and distributed in over 60 countries.
