Six glasses. Etched florals all around the bowl, a bulbous stem, a flared top. Mid-century Japan at its most quietly elegant.
This is a set of six vintage blown glass sherry / liqueur glasses with hand-cut and etched floral decoration, a flared top, and a beautifully shaped bulbous stem. Made in Japan; sold by W.T. Grant in the 1950s. Maker unknown — unmarked. Circa 1950s–1960s. One set available.
At 5.5 inches tall with a nearly 3-inch opening and 4 oz capacity, these are versatile stemware — equally suited to sherry, liqueurs, dessert service, or parfaits. A couple of air bubbles are visible in the glass — expected and characteristic of older blown glass, not defects. Minor wear from age and use only. No chips, cracks, or scratches.
A lovely set for an elegant barware collector, a mid-century enthusiast, a hostess gift, or anyone building a beautiful mixed bar with pieces that have genuine character.
